III. Information on data processing
Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary and unless otherwise stated below regarding individual processing procedures.
Cookie Manager
To obtain consent for the use of technically unnecessary cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager.
When the website is accessed, a cookie containing the settings information is stored on the user’s device so that the consent request does not have to be made again on a subsequent visit.
The cookie is required in order to obtain legally compliant consent from the user.
The user can prevent or terminate the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of their browser.
Cookies
a) Session cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your device by the Internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information about you, such as your browser data, location data or your IP address, is processed to an individual extent.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, more effective and more secure, as the processing enables, for example, the display of our website in different languages or the provision of a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract performance.
If the processing does not serve contract initiation or contract performance, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your Internet browser.
b) Third-party cookies
If applicable, cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for the purposes of advertising, analysis or the functionalities of our website may also be used on our website.
Details in this regard, in particular the purposes and legal bases of the processing of such third-party cookies, can be found in the information below.
c) Possibility of removal
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your Internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the steps and measures required depend on the specific Internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, however, the processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash player you use. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may result in not all functions of our website being fully usable.
Contact inquiries / contact option
If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of the data is necessary for processing and answering your request – without it, we cannot answer your request or can only answer it to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your request has been finally answered and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data are transmitted by your Internet browser to us or to our webspace provider. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your Internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our site that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, as well as the IP address of the Internet connection from which the use of our website takes place, are collected, among other things.
The data collected in this way are stored temporarily, but not together with other data concerning you.
This storage is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data are exempt from deletion in whole or in part until the final clarification of an incident.
FontAwesome
In order to be able to display fonts and visual elements of our website, we use external fonts from FontAwesome. FontAwesome is a service of
Fonticons Inc., 6 Porter Road, Apartment 3R, Cambridge, MA 02140, USA, hereinafter referred to as “FontAwesome”.
When our website is accessed, a connection to the FontAwesome server in the USA is established in order to enable and update the display of fonts and visual elements.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of our website.
Through the connection established to the FontAwesome server when accessing our website, FontAwesome can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the font display is to be transmitted.
FontAwesome provides further information at:

in particular on the possibilities of preventing data use.
jQuery CDN
To optimize the retrieval speed, design and presentation of the content of our website on different devices, we use the service
jQuery CDN, a content delivery network (“CDN”). This is a service of the jQuery Foundation, hereinafter referred to as “jQuery”. jQuery is distributed for the JS Foundation via the StackPath CDN.
In order to deliver the content of our website quickly, the service uses so-called JavaScript libraries. The corresponding files are loaded from the CDN server unless they are already present in your browser cache from visiting another website. In the event of a connection to the CDN server, your IP address is recorded. It cannot be ruled out that a connection to a server outside the EU is established.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in accelerating the loading times of our website as well as its optimization.
To prevent the execution of JavaScript code by jQuery altogether, you can install a so-called JavaScript blocker, such as noscript.net or ghostery.com. If you prevent or restrict the execution of JavaScript code, this may, for technical reasons, result in not all content and functions of our website being available.
OpenStreetMap
For directions, we use OpenStreetMap, a service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, hereinafter referred to as “OpenStreetMap”.
When you access one of our web pages into which the OpenStreetMap service is integrated, OpenStreetMap stores a cookie on your device via your Internet browser. This processes your user settings and user data for the purpose of displaying the page or ensuring the functionality of the OpenStreetMap service. Through this processing, OpenStreetMap can recognize from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the display of the directions is to be transmitted.
If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis may also be Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of our website.
If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your Internet browser. Details can be found above under “Cookies”.
